Sphere Las Vegas Tickets — Everything You Need to Know
The complete insider guide to the world's most talked-about venue — what to expect, where to sit, how to get there, and how to score the best tickets.
The Sphere at The Venetian is not just a venue — it's a paradigm shift in live entertainment. Here's everything you need to know before you go.
What Is the Sphere?
The Sphere is a $2.3 billion, 366-foot-tall spherical structure located just east of The Venetian on the Las Vegas Strip. It's the world's largest spherical building and features the highest-resolution LED screen ever built — a 160,000-square-foot interior display that wraps around and above the audience, creating a fully immersive visual experience unlike anything else on Earth.
The exterior is covered in 580,000 square feet of programmable LED panels, making it the world's largest LED screen and a landmark visible from across the city.

What Shows Are at the Sphere?
The Sphere has hosted:
- •**U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere** — The residency that opened the venue
- •**Postcard from Earth** — Darren Aronofsky's immersive film experience
- •**Dead & Company** — The Grateful Dead offshoot's farewell shows
- •**Eagles** — Their "The Long Goodbye" farewell tour
- •**Phish** — Multi-night runs with full Sphere visuals
New shows and residencies are announced regularly. The Sphere is selective about bookings — not every artist can fill 18,600 seats at Vegas prices, so the lineup tends toward legacy acts and immersive experiences.
Best Seats at the Sphere
The Sphere is unique because the entire interior IS the screen. That said, seat location still matters:
Floor Seats (100-level)
- •Closest to the stage
- •Best for feeling the energy of the performer
- •Limited view of the upper portions of the LED screen
- •Premium pricing
Mid-Level (200-level) — THE SWEET SPOT
- •Best overall view of the full LED display
- •You can see the entire wrap-around screen plus the stage
- •This is where the immersive experience is most impactful
- •Moderate pricing (by Sphere standards)
Upper Level (300-level)
- •Still incredible — the screen surrounds you at every level
- •Best value pricing
- •Further from the stage but closer to the overhead display
- •Great for immersive film experiences like Postcard from Earth
Avoid
- •Very top rows of the 300-level can have some visual distortion from the curvature
- •Extreme side sections on the floor can miss some of the screen
Getting There
Parking
The closest parking is at **The Venetian** garage. Self-park is currently free for resort guests, paid for non-guests. The Sphere does not have its own dedicated parking structure.
Rideshare
Rideshare drop-off is on **Sands Avenue**, right at the main entrance. This is the easiest option and avoids the parking garage trek.
Walking
If you're staying anywhere on the north end of the Strip (Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, Encore), the Sphere is an easy 5-10 minute walk.
Monorail
The Las Vegas Monorail stops at **Harrah's/The LINQ** station, which is about a 15-minute walk to the Sphere.
Tips for Your Visit
- •1. **Arrive 30+ minutes early** — The exterior LED show is worth seeing, and security lines can be long
- •2. **Don't eat a huge meal before** — The immersive visuals can cause mild motion sensitivity in some people
- •3. **Bring a light jacket** — The venue is heavily air-conditioned
- •4. **Charge your phone** — You'll want photos of the exterior and interior, but once the show starts, put it away and be present
- •5. **Consider mid-level seats** — Trust us on this one. The 200-level is the best value for the full Sphere experience
Is the Sphere Worth It?
In a word: yes. Even skeptics come away impressed. The technology is genuinely unprecedented — there is nothing else like this anywhere in the world. Whether you see a concert or the Postcard from Earth experience, the Sphere delivers on its promise of something you've never experienced before.
The only caveat is pricing — Sphere shows tend to be premium-priced. But for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a venue that may define the future of entertainment, most visitors find it's money well spent.
